Yes. I want to compress my 2025 into 26 minutes.
This year wasn't loud. It wasn't clean either. It was about survival first, then self-discovery. A lot of learning, a lot of unlearning, and plenty mistakes that taught lessons I won't forget anytime soon.
Did I grow? That's a tricky question.
What I know for sure is this: I found myself. I figured out my strengths, faced my weaknesses, and learned what actually works for me—my health, my limits, what I can carry and what I simply can't. That alone changed everything.
Along the way, I made some solid connections, built more client projects, learned some genuinely cool things, and switched fully to macOS—still convinced it's the best operating system out there 👀. I came close to opportunities that could've changed my life overnight, and even though they didn't fully land, they shifted my perspective forever.
I'm writing this sitting on a new chair I bought for myself. Small thing, but worth it. I spend most of my life sitting and thinking 😑, so it felt like a good investment.
For months now, my main focus has been chasing true senior-level mastery in software engineering—not titles, not noise, but depth. And honestly, I don dey sabi wella 😂.
There are people who shaped this year for me, even if they don't know it. My Parents 🥹. My friend Sheriffdeen Saula O. My helper Yussuf Gbadamosi. Mummy wa Dr. Success Ojo. An unforgettable mentor, Abdulhamiid Oyebo. And others I may not mention, but I haven't forgotten.
Here's to a new year. 🎊
